Description

BAF Museum 2016: I personally would have wished if there were fewer obstacles in the frame, specially the sign board in front of the a/c. not to be overly critical, but the museum does fall short of infusing the aviation vibe to some extent, as there is no pictorial and educational gallery. Also the repainting of the exhibits were eye-watering the last time it was done. Nonetheless, being the only museum of its kind in the country, I hope the appropriate authorities will take steps to induct more exhibits and ensure they are maintained decently.

There used to be a BAF An-26 at VGTJ for years, although it was scrapped by 2008.Only if a DC-10 could have been placed here :'(I know it sounds illogical, considering the costs involved and difficulties in transporting such an aircraft from DAC.
