Deutsch: Auerlandsvegen, auch Snøveg genannt ( deutch „Schneestraße“): Die 50 Kilometer lange Hochgebirgsstraße verbindet die Orte Auerlandsvangen und Lærdalsøyri und führt von Meeresniveau bis zu einer Höhe von 1.300 Meter und wieder hinunter auf Meereshöhe. Der Winter dauert auf der Höhe bis Anfang Juni. Das Bild entstand im Juni des Jahres 1989, ein Winter mit besonders hohen Schneemassen.
Simple English: Auerlandsvegen, also known as Snøveg (English: "snow road"): The 50-kilometer high mountain road connects the villages Auerlandsvangen and Lærdalsøyri and leads from sea level to a height of 1,300 meters and back down to sea level. Winter lasts until the beginning of June. The picture was taken in June 1989, a winter with particularly high snow masses. |
