Description
English: The Sindoor Baoli is referred to as the "Tank and Mandapa in front of Dattatreya temple" by the Archaeological Survey of India. It is another historic pushkarini, a public water tank built for Hindu pilgrims. The water tank is to the east of and very close to the two Narasimha temples from the 5th-century, and several other ancient Hindu monuments from the Vakataka era. It consists of a choultry for pilgrims (pillared mandapa), and a large water tank.
