| Description |
English: Part of a spur from the main line of the Staten Island Railway approaching the northwest corner of the Huguenot Avenue bridge and west of the Huguenot Staten Island Railway station in the Huguenot section of Staten Island, New York City, as seen from the Saint George Terminal-bound tracks. A non-NYCS standard subway signal can also be seen in front of the embankment for this spur, possibly because it might've been something previously installed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, which previously owned SIRT before the MTA acquired them. It's possible that this spur leads to the other side of the former station house, but today it's used by the SIR for track ballast loading.. |
