Description
English: Małopolski Instytut Kultury w Krakowie; zobacz więcej: www.muzea.malopolska.pl ;;;fot. Małopolski Instytut Kultury w Krakowie The thick-walled vessel has been preserved in its entirety. The surface of the high collar and belly is decorated with wide bands of horizontal grooves. It is probably a late-mediaeval pottery product with an addition of graphite, which was used in metallurgical operations, perhaps in the manufacture of paints or tar production.
