025DA6 post medieval dress fastener
Description
English: Post Medieval copper alloy clothes fastener, 26mm long and 18mm wide. The object is in a fair condition with a reddish/brown patina. It is rectangular in shape and 4mm thick. It has a hook protruding 8mm from its base and the opposite end has a rectangular hole to attach it to clothing. The main body of the object is decorated with a series of circular holes randomly spaced. B Read, 2008. Pg. 90, No. 310.
