Description
Deutsch: Richtung Westen vom Fernbahngleis Chab–Osb, die Ausfahrsignale der S-Bahn-Gleisen stammen noch vom ersten automatischen Streckenblock AB 28. Zwiachen Fri und Al besteht jedoch schon seit 1989 AB 70S.

Die S-Bahn benutzt noch drei Gleise, das Gleis 4 ist das Richtungsgleis Richtung Ostbahnhof. Das Gleis 3 ist abgebaut. Mit der Grundsanierung des Bahnhofes zwischen 1995 und 1999 wurde die S-Bahn-Strecke wieder auf die zwei Gleise in der kleinen Nordhalle reduziert, die vier Gleise in der Südhalle gehören seitdem wieder zum Fernbahnnetz.

Das Stellwerk FRIO ist noch in Betrieb, das angeschnittene Klinkergebäude rechts ist das Gleichrichterunterwerk Friedrichstraße der S-Bahn.
