Français : Ancienne statue romaine représentant le Tigre, restaurée au début du 16ème siècle par Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli (qui lui a donné les attributs de ce fleuve) et sarcophage en marbre, ca. 160-170 CE, orné du relief représentant une Amazonomachie et servant de bassin sous la statue de la rivière Tigre. Les deux oeuvres sculpturales sont aujourd'hui exposées à l'intérieur de l' "Ottagono Cortile" (cour octogonale) dans le Musée Pio-Clementino (Musées du Vatican).
English: Ancient Roman statue of the Tigris river, restored in early 16th century by Montorsoli (who gave it the attributes of this river and marble sarcophagus, ca. 160–170 CE, showing a relief of an Amazonomachy and serving as basin for the Tigris fountain. Both sculptures are now exhibited in the "Cortile Ottagono" (Octagonal Courtyard) in the Museo Pio-Clementino (Vatican Museums).
