Description Durante o carnaval 2008, o Terréo da sede do MinC Nordeste, na Rua do Bom Jesus (Recife Antigo), sediou a 1ª Expocarnaval, reunindo cerca de 45 artesãos de municípios da região metropolitana do Estado, que expuseram e comercializam sua produção carnavalesca: máscaras, fantasias, bijuterias, instrumentos musicais e outros itens para a folia. Para a artesã Vani Mariss, a liberação do espaço pela RRNE “demonstra a sensibilidade do governo pelas causas artesãs, ratificando que o lugar do artesão e do artesanato é na cultura”.
