Deutsch: Im Jahr ihres 100. Gründungsjubiläums der Kestnergesellschaft enthüllte der Vorstandsvorsitzende Uwe H. Reuter und der niedersächsische Ministerpräsident Stephan Weil im November 2016 eine Gedenktafel an der denkmalgeschützten Fassade des ehemaligen Goseriedebades mit der erhabenen Inschrift

„Justus Bier
1899 - 1990

Direktor der Kestner Gesellschaft von 1930-1936.
Trotz Druck seitens der Nationalsozialisten hielt der
Vorstand an seinem jüdischen Direktor fest.
Die Kestner Gesellschaft wurde 1936 zwangsgeschlossen.
Justus Bier emigrierte 1937 in die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika.“
