Description
English: 106th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron McDonnell RF-4C-22-MC Phantom 64-1047, shown at Shaikh Isa Air Base, Bahrain during Operation Desert Shield. Note the numerous "camels", painted on its intake, representing the number of missions flown. 1047 Flew 172 sorties in Desert Shield. After its retirement in 1994, the aircraft was flown to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio where today it is on permanent display at the Museum of the United States Air Force.
