Summary edit

Description U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors work on concrete sidewalks outside of modular classrooms at the temporary replacement site for Irving Elementary School in Joplin, Mo. The school was destroyed by the F-5 tornado that struck the Joplin area May 22. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is managing the construction of temporary replacement facilities for critical public infrastructure as part of the federal tornado recovery effort.
