Summary edit

Description
English: 11103 Woodland Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. This is the site of a cigar store where former Cleveland crime family underbosses Rosario and Raimondo "Raymond" Porrello were assassinated on February 25, 1932.

Mob boss Joseph Porrello and underboss Sam Tilocco were murdered by rivals in 1930. Vincenzo "James" Porrello, claimant to the boss position, was murdered three weeks later.

A new faction, led by Frank "Ciccio" Milano, arose to take over the Cleveland crime family.

11103 Woodland had been a barber shop and hardware store before it became a cigar store. It was just a half block east of 11902 Woodland, where the Porrellos had murdered their rival Joseph Lonardo and his brother John Lonardo in 1927, and where the Lonardos had murdered Cleveland mob boss Salvatore "Black Sam" Todaro in 1929. The rear of 11902 was 11906 Woodland, where James Porrello had died in 1930.

Rosario and Raymond were playing cards in a room at the back of the cigar store with bodyguard Dominic Gueli (aka Dominic Mangino). Lonardo hitmen Frank Brancato and Dominic Suspirato burst in and killed all three. At least one of the Porellos returned fire and shot Brancato, who survived. Bystander Joe Damanti also died.
