Summary edit

Description

115 and 117 F Street, NW as they appeared in the 3/15/08 "Washington Times".

They had just been purchased from the estate of Amelia J. Purrington by John F. McKay, who planned to build a shop for rental by the Louvre Glove Company on the site.

At the time, 115 (right) was occupied by the Goodyear Raincoat Company and Hall's Confectioners. The Times reported it had been built ca. 1808 and previously served as a dwelling.
