| Description |
Slipway to the former ferry crossing at Kylesku in North West Scotland. Until July 1984, this was a regular ferry crossing to join up the main A894 over Loch a' Chàirn Bhàin. The slipway is still in use today for local boat cruises with road traffic taking the bridge which opened in 1984. Photo taken on 12 July 2018 during a road touring holiday of North West Scotland. The holiday was centred on North Coast 500 (NC500), the circular route from Inverness taking in some spectacular scenery. However, there are plenty of detours on islands and some minor roads than can be added on to this. |
