| Description | Atomic Bomb-Nagasaki, 1945. Utter Desolation – In this valley were hundreds and hundreds of homes, set close together, until the atomic bomb exploded on Nagasaki. Note the structures half a mile distant, scorched, partly ruined. Bones of seared human beings were found in this area. Even the trees were scorched.
