Description
English: Standard MTA Subway Helvetica Sign at the northbound side of the crossover directing commuters to the staircases at the to the 138th Street-Grand Concourse Subway station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx, New York City. Both staircases go to the platform leading to the northern Bronx. 4 trains lead to Woodlawn Elevated station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line in Norwood, while 5 trains can go either to Nereid Avenue El station on the IRT White Plains Road Line in Wakefield, or Dyre Avenue El station on the IRT Dyre Avenue Line in Eastchester. To catch a 6 train, leave the station, go above ground, and walk more than several blocks east to the Third Avenue-138th Street Subway Station on the IRT Pelham Line.
