Description
English: Alpine National Park, Vic.: View of the summit of Mt Feathertop. Note the snow 'cornice' caused by the prevailing wind which blows the snow off the summit, giving Feathertop its name: walking too close to the fragile edge invites serious injury or death. However, at this time of year the trail is easily visible and is quite safe.
