15 cts Rhodes10 MARS 1945 : Le seul timbre portant le sigle R.F. émis pendant la guerre l'est par les Japonais après leur coup de force du 9 Mars. Il s'agit du timbre 15c de Rhodes brun (Y&T Indochine N°287).

Deux autres timbres commandés par l'Amiral Decoux ne seront pas émis par les autorités japonaises mais seront mis en vente par le gouvernement de la VNDCCH l'année suivante à Hà-Nôi. Il s'agit du 5c Rigault brun vendu le 19 janvier 1946 (Y&T Indochine N°265) et le 20c Pavie vendu le 1er février 1946 (Y&T Indochine N°260).

Timbres non-émis, sans valeur d'affranchissement, mais vendus officiellement par la VNDCCH aux collectionneurs.

Deux autres timbres 3c Courbet (Y&T Indochine N°263A) et 15c Garnier (Y&T Indochine N°270A) officiellement non-émis (ni par les Japonais ni par la VNDCCH) se sont retrouvés en nombre non négligeable dans le commerce philatélique. La plus grande partie de ces timbres a été surchargée par le gouvernement de la VNDCCH de Hà-Nôi en 1946.
