Description 160720-M-xxxxx-001 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (July 20, 2016)- Pfc. Christopher Kovack from Franklin, Pa. simulates being a casualty while Lance Cpl. Douglas Johnson, from La Salle, Ill. demonstrates combat lifesaving techniques. During this training, Marines were required to demonstrate combat lifesaving techniques including tourniquet drills, pressure dressings and casualty movements. First Platoon, headquartered in Rota, Spain, is prepared to conduct rapid response expeditionary anti-terrorism and security operations in order to protect vital national and naval assets.
