Description

The Power of One 5K kicked on Camp Ripley Saturday Aug 6, 2016. Hosted by the Minnesota National Guard: Resilience, Risk Reduction & Suicide Prevention the event incooperated awareness, training, fun and healing to members of the Minnesota National Guard as well as fellow Service-members and families.

Among the guest speakers were CSM Douglas Wortham, senior enlisted advisor for the Minnesota National Guard and Sgt 1st Class Joshua Guyse who spoke about the reality of mental and emotional challenges and the importance of the 'battle buddy' system of taking care or each other.
