Description 171026-N-XC372-1280 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 25, 2017) An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the Mighty Shrikes of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 94, an F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the Stingers of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 113, an EA-18G Growler, assigned to the Cougars of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 139, and an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the Redcocks of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 22, fly in formation over Wake Island during a U.S. Navy Heritage event for the crew. assigned to Carrier Air Wingaircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is currently underway for a regularly scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
