Description
Deutsch: Zum Greifen von Zuckerbrocken in einem betuchten Haushalt schuf der in Einbeck tätige Goldschmied Johann Ernst Löding etwa um das Jahr 1750 im Metallguss-Verfahren diese 12,5 cm lange Zuckerzange , die das Stadtmuseum Einbeck im Portal Kulturerbe Niedersachsen wie folgt beschrieb:

„Zuckerzange aus 12lötigem (750er) Silber. Die beiden Griffe und Greifarme sind als Blattranken ausgeformt, am Kreuzungspunkt zusätzlich mit Blüten besetzt. Reichhaltig verziert. Die beiden muschelförmigen Greifer innen je mit einer Punze gestempelt.“

Stempel:

  1. Springendes Pferd über "12" im Achteck (Beschauzeichen)
  2. IEL im Rechteckstempel (Meisterzeichen)


Das Museum ordnete das Stück aus seiner "Sammlung Festtagskultur der Alltagskultur zu mit und versah die Zange mit den Schlagworten Rohrzucker,

Besteck, Spezialbesteck und Zuckerzange. Der Museums-Identifikator lautete "SME A 7808".
