This is the right half of a plate from Vernet's "Incroyables et Merveilleuses" series, 1793. (for the whole context of the engraving see Image:1793-1778-contrast-wholeplate-lowQ.jpg). Note that in the partial reproduction of the 1793 original which was scanned for this image, the end of the man's sword-hilt projecting out behind was omitted (go to Image:1793-1778-contrast-wholeplate-lowQ.jpg to see it).
