Description

Español: Larmahue es una comunidad ubicada a 77 km. de Rancagua y a 5 km. de Pichidegua. Estas ruedas son un sistema de regadío ingenioso y único que se cree data del siglo XVIII. Permite regar tierras que carecían de riego, por lo cual hubo que subir el agua hasta alcanzar la altura necesaria, lo que se efectúa mediante estas ruedas de agua, unidas por su eje a dos fuertes pilares, que movidas por la corriente dan vueltas elevando y luego arrojando el vital elemento mediante recipientes colocados en todo el perímetro, la mayoría de las cuales tiene un diámetro de cinco y seis metros y algunas tienen hasta ocho metros.
