Description
English: Taken on a summer Friday evening, 2333 is seen at Namur on an international train from Brussels through to Italy. Possibly a relief as often the regular daily service would be run at full capacity for holiday traffic needing an additional train. Trains would take the route via Luxembourg where the SNCB/NMBS loco would be exchanged over to an SNCF loco via Strasbourg on to Basel. Date taken, 18 August 1995.Sadly over the years all overnight trains from Belgium have been done away with except for a few privately run charters during the winter sports period.
Français : la 2333 assure en ce soir du 18/08/1995 un train international de nuit entre Bruxelles et l'Italie. Il est possible que ce convoi soit un dédoublement lié à une forte affluence en cette veille de weekend de mi-aout. Notez l'état peu reluisant de la motrice et les travaux de couvrement des voies de la gare de Namur en cours à l'arrière plan.
