| Description |
English: El Timbaler del Bruc, personified by Isidre Lluçà i Casanoves (1791, March 14 – 1809, April 6), was – and still is – a symbol of the resistance of a nation to an enemy, which was then the French (napoléonic) régime that occupied and subjected Spain from 1808 until it was ousted in 1814. This large size sculpture, inaugurated in 1962, is a replica of the one erected in 1956, off Carrer de Balmes (Metro Padua), Barcelona ( ► ... ).
