Summary edit

Description In 2016, the Roaring Lion Fire burned nearly 9,000 acres of forestland near Hamilton, Mont., including portions of Kathy Good's property. Through the Emergency Watershed Protection program, Good worked with Matt Whithed, NRCS district conservationist, to plant trees and grasses to stabilize the land upslope from Good's property to prevent erosion. June 2017. Ravalli County, Montana.
