English: 1876 map of the proposed Boston and Mystic Valley Railroad, which was never built and ceased to exist as a corporate identity after 1882. The B&MVRR was intended as a way for the Boston and Maine Railroad to poach Boston and Lowell Railroad traffic in Medford, Winchester, and Woburn.
