Summary edit

Description

A postcard sent to Ted Claxton. Showing Why-as-ye Park Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, England. The thatched cottage (centre) which shared the name "Why ax Ye" was demolished to make way for housing around 1925. This road was originally Traps Lane. It is now Cutenhoe Road and is no longer rural.

Note: "Why ax Ye" is an archaic rural dialect expression meaning "Why do you ask?"
