Description

The Ford Motor Company began in 1903, with the 2 passenger auto carriage, the Model A Runabout. Ford contracted John and Horace Dodge to manufacture the engine. The Dodges started making their own cars in 1914. While most 2 seater runabouts in 1906 had a 1 or 2 cylinder engine and bicycle style drive chain, Fords Model N was cheaper, faster and more rugged, it got 4 cylinders and was driven by a driveshaft. Engine; 15hp 149 cu in 4 cyl
