Deutsch: An den Seiten elektronisch leicht angeschnittene Seite aus der Zeitschrift Echo Continental, 7. Jahrgang, Nr. 8 vom 15. August 1919 mit drei Abdrucken von Aufnahmen (ungenannte*r Fotograf*in) über dem Titel

„Vom Tennis-Turnier des Deutschen Tennis-Vereins Hannover
(11. bus 20. Juli 1919)“

und dem Text

„Die für drei Tage (11. bis 13. Juli 1919) geplanten lokalen Wettspiele des D. T. V.-Hannover mußten der Witterungsunbilden wegen auf zehn Tage ausgedehnt werden. Es gab sehr fesselnden Sport zu sehen; die in Hannover bereits bekannten Spielerinnen und Spieler Fräulein Nelly Gaßmann, Frau Dr. Seligmann, Fräulein Haase, Fräulein Winter, die Herren Stephanus jr., Groos, Lameyer, Lane bewiesen wiederum ihre Klasse und zeigten beeindruckendes Können.
Das obere Bild gibt einen Augenblick wieder aus dem Vorrundenspiel im Herren-Einzel ohne Vorgabe Stephanus - Lane (Sieger Lane 6 : 2, 6 : 3). Bild zwei: Groos kurz nach einem Vorhandschlag in der Schlussrunde des Herren-Einzelspiels ohne Vorgabe. Bild drei: Stephanus - Lane im Herren-Einzelspiel.“

Die Bilder zeigen neben den Spieler*innen und den Zuschauer*innen unter anderem einen Teil des hannoverschen Schlachthofes sowie die Eilenriede. Die Fotos entstanden auf dem Gelände des DTV Hannover an Stelle des Parkplatzes der heutigen (Stand 2021) Solvay GmbH.
