Description

1919 Oldsmobile 3/4 Ton Truck

Legend has it that Ransom Eli Olds of Michigan started inventing automobiles because he couldn’t stand the smell of horses. He was determined to sell his new product and he must have been convincing because trucks like this one soon became very popular among both delivery agents and farmers. However, many others were reluctant to make the change from horse-and-buggy. Motorized vehicles and horses continued to work alongside each other into the 1950s in Alberta.
