Description
English: With his smile forming crinkles around his eyes, race car driver Eddie O'Donnell posed for the camera prior to the Tacoma Classic, held July 5th, 1920, at the Tacoma Speedway. When crowd favorite Ralph DePalma's French Ballot broke down prior to the race, O'Donnell offered him the use of his Duesenberg. O'Donnell himself drove team-mate Eddie Miller's car with Miller riding as mechanic. They were the eighth and last car to pass the finish line. (TDL 7/5/1920, pg. 3) TPL-3174
