A typical Swedish economy longhouse with color and window settings from the beginning of the 20th century. However, probably with a contemporary darker red color and a colorless white.

English: The facades became a little calmer around the turn of the century, but the recommendation from the Board of Agriculture was, as in the standard drawings used here, red-colored facades with windows, corners and other carpentry joy in white, i.e. a Swedish variant of Swiss style, which was also the language of the time. Today we say carpentry joy.
Svenska: Fasaderna blev lite lugnare runt sekelskiftet men rekommendationen från jordbruksstyrelsen var som i det här husets använda standardritningar rödfärgade fasader med fönster, hörn och annan snickarglädje i vitt, dvs en svensk variant av schweizerstil vilket också var samtidens språkbruk. Idag säger vi snickarglädje. |
