Description

Tropicana Green. The 1937 Ford got a more rounded body and now fine horizontal bars in the V shaped grille and a V shaped windscreen. The 38 Ford was very similar to the 37, the Standard got similar shaped grille/hood to 1937 but Deluxe got new heart shaped grille/hood. In 1939, the Standard got a grille similar to the 1938 Deluxe, a heart shaped grille with horizontal dividers. The Deluxe got a low pointed grille with vertical slats. Standard models available were; Coupe and Sedan. Deluxe models available in Coupe, Woody Wagon, Cabriolet, Phaeton and Roadster The 39 Ford was not only built in the US but also in other countries including Australia. 1934 was the year the worlds first coupe utility was available, Ford Utes designed and built in Australia form 1934-2016. In 1939 and 1940 Ford Australia introduced its own variation on the 2 door Coupe, the design following rival brands from GM and Chrysler, they were all called the Sloper Coupes.
