Dansk: Denne Grav-Steen, som er af hviidagtig Marmor, ligger i Begravelse Capell i Gundersløvholms Kirke, hvor desuden findes et Epitaphium af Alabast opreist over denne samme Hr. Christoffer giøe, men det er meest ødelagt og de fleste Vaaben er borte. Dog er Inscriptionen i Behold, hvilken lyder saaledes: Her ligger begravet Erlig og Welbyrdig Mand Christoffer Gøje til Antzberg, Gundersløvholm, Bolderup, Bregntved, Ørbyegaard og Klausholm, hvilken Herren naadelig kaldet af thenne sørgelig verden til sit evige Rige udi Viborg d. 3de April 1584, som var ærlig, Velbyrdig og strenge Ridders Her Magni Gøjes, Dannemarks Riges Hofmesters og Erlig velbyrdig Frues Frue Margrete Sthures Søn. Ligger her og begravet hans kiere Hustru Erlig og Velbyrdig Fru Birgitte Bølle, Sal: og We[l]byrdig Ericks Bølles og Frue Sophie Rudtths Doter, som lod giøre og bekoste dette Epitaphium, hvilken Gud naadelig kaldet hiem til sit Evige Rige d:..... aar..... med begges deres kiere og lille Søn Erlig og Velbyrdig Magno Gøye af Gud heden kaldet d: 2 Julii Aar 1550. Hvilke med alle Guds Elskelige og udvaldte give Gud en Erefuld og glædelig Opstandelse til det Evige Liv Amen. 25 x 38 cm. |
