Notes reca la scritta autografa: " 1940 A. Mosca dal Parco Nuovo". E' stato eseguito nel corso di una visita che il pittore fece al figlio Arrigo residente a Milano con la famiglia in corso Sempione, 100. "Le sorelle Ghisini", ovvero "Le Sirenette" che danno il nome al ponticello, evidentemente non vi erano ancora state installate trovandosi nei depositi comunali fin dal 1930.
