Description
English: A 1941 Ford Mercury Eight two-door convertible on display at the National Museum of Singapore. It was one of the last cars assembled at the Ford Motor Factory before the Japanese occupation of Singapore. The car was seized by the Imperial Japanese Army for its use, then shipped to Indonesia in 1945 by the Dutch military following the end of World War II. It was purchased by vintage car enthusiast Kevin White and brought back to Singapore in 1998.
