Description

Known as the Art Deco era of Chev Trucks; 1941-47. The new 1941 Chevrolet truck's entire front end: hood, louvers, fenders, bumpers, headlights, parking lights and grille were all new. When combined with a 1 1/2-inch increase in wheelbase, the result was a larger, more impressive truck. Available in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton and in pickup, panel and stakeside bodies. They were built in 1941 and 42, then production was limited to essential users, while the war was on, then resumed to normal production in 1945 until 1947
