Description

The 4th generation was introduced in 1942, then interupted by the war and continued in 1946-48. It was longer, lower, wider and roomier with a vertical bar grille and long front fenders continuing well into the door. 1942 models got next to no chrome and 1946 models got a bomb sight hood ornament. 1947/48 got a solid chrome surround around the grille Base model SWB Series 40; The Special, 1936-58 Base model LWB Series 50; The Super, 1939-58 Mid model SWB Series 60; The Century, 1936-58 Top model LWB Series 70; The Roadmaster, 1936-58 Available in Sedan, Coupe and Roadster
