V8 Customline Sedans and Mainline Utilitys were built in Australia from 1952-59. The 1955-56 shape continued on through 1957-58 in Australia. The grille in the 57 was the same as 1956, but the side stainless steel trim was different. The final series , known as the Star model, utilized the grille from 1955 Meteor of Canada. Engines; 223 6 cyl OHV or 162hp 272 and 193hp 292 Y block V8s |
