Description
English: The Allentown Howard Johnson's Restaurant opened about 1940 at 647 Union Boulevard, which was U.S. 22 at the time (William Penn Highway). It was well known for its 26 flavors of ice cream as the tall cupola. It closed and was torn down about 1965. Today the lot is being used as a car wash.
