Not only did 1959 see new bodies but new names as well; base model was the Lesabre, mid, the Invicta (both B bodies) and top was the longer C body Electra and Electra 225, The Lesabre replaced the Special. The new shape featured wrap around windshield, tail fins and round tail lights. The minor facelift in 1960 saw the slanted headlights replaced by horizontal and a new concave grille, also the unique Buick Ventiports were back (3 on the Lesabre and Invicta and 4 on the Electra) Engine; 364 cu in V8 (401 in Electra) |
