English: Obverse of medal struck by the US Mint in Philadelphia for President Eisenhower's use. He awarded the medal during his Feb. 22 - March 7, 1960 trip to four countries in South America. Mintage 1750, diameter 38.1 mm, 0.900 fine silver, designed by Frank Gasparro. Cataloged by Gomez as DDE-C2-01 in book ISBN 978-1511786744.
