This is a 1961 Chrysler Newport sedan, not a New Yorker. It appears stock except for the half moon accessory headlight covers.

New Yorkers were available from 1940, this is the 1960-64 6th generation. Engines were carried over from the 5th generation, but the 6th had a new unibody construction. The New Yorker entered 1961 with a new grille, slanted headlights, a continental kit on the trunk lid. This is the last of the Forward Look models and the last year for the tail fins.
