| Description |
The Shelby Mustang was a high performance version of the Ford Mustang which were built by Shelby America from 1965-1970. Engine; all 1965-66 Shelby Mustangs had the 306 bhp K Code 289 V8 with high riser manifold. They also got the stronger rear end out of the Galaxie in place of the original Falcon rear end. Most were Fastbacks, but 6 Convertibles were built. 1373 GT350s made. 1003 GT350Hs made- Shelby struck up a deal with Hertz to produce GT350s for rent.
