Description
English: 1967 AMC Ambassador 990, a full-sided luxurious car built by American Motors Corporation. This is the mid-range Ambassador model in the two-door hardtop (no center B-pillar) body style. The exterior is finished in Apollo Yellow (paint code P25A) and sports AMC's optional Turbocast full wheel covers. The bodyside scuff molding appears aftermarket as such an option was not available from the factory in 1967. The interior is done in green with the 990's standard cloth upholstery on the individually adjustable and reclining front seats. The Ambassador offers room for six adult passengers. This car has AMC's new high-compression 343 cubic inch (5.6 L) V8 engine producing 280 horsepower with a column-mounted automatic transmission selector. This Ambassador also has factory air conditioning, as well as an AM/FM radio Picture taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
