中文（臺灣）：台中縣東勢鎮受氣候、地形影響，雨量充沛，氣候溫和宜人，不但農作少受風害，亦為理想之果樹園藝區域。以農業發展而言，具有果樹栽培專業化、種類多樣化之優點，非常適合高經濟性之果樹生長，故大量栽培柑橘、桃子、高接梨、葡萄等水果，為山城特有山產。
