Description

The Hillman Hunter was built from 1966-79, available as a 4 door saloon, 5 door estate (1967) and a 2 door coupe. 

In 1967 the Deluxe replaced the Minx as the base model then there was the Super, GL, the sporty GT and top GLS with twin carbys

They were built in Australia from CKD kits by Chrysler Australia from 1967, the HB. Available was the base Arrow and the Hunter. From 1969 the HC, round headlights, now rectangular. The Hunter was the base model, the luxury model was the Royal and the sporty model was the GT, also available the Safari estate. The 1971 facelift was the HE, new grille and smaller headlights. Base model was now the Hustler, and because of insurance costs, the GT was now the Royal 660. The Hunter phased out in 1973 in Australia

Engine; 1725cc 4 cyl, base models had a 1500cc engine.
